A conceptual womenswear capsule I designed for the final days of summer and the first days of fall. It's inspired by wind and stasis; those moments when the pull of change is at odds with the ease of constancy.
Musing on the temporary art installations of Riita Paivalainen, the pieces in the collection are "surrendered to the elements", moving and flowing with the wearer, and returning to stillness only when she decides. To emulate this tension, crisp, structured synthetics are paired with soft, fluid naturals, each moving in its own way. Adjustable, asymmetric silhouettes create a suspended, windswept feeling, while an earthbound palette anchors the movement.
